Wireless mouse

Ok, so I decided to invest in a wireless mouse. I bought the thing, came back home, pluged it in and what? It didn't work! I went back to the store where they told me I should configure my comp and stuff. Ok, I did it and it worked... It was late and I left the mouse pluged in and on for the whole night. I woke up, launched CS and the thing went dead after 5 mins :/ SO now I have a wireless mouse with a AC adaptor pluged in into it!!!
